A custom pram liner will look soooooo good in your pram.
It would be an incredibly short post if that was the only reason to get one so here are 5 reasons why you should really buy that custom pram liner you’ve been eyeing.
I must say that this was very easy for me to write since these are all the things I said to Stuart before I hopped online with the credit card details! None are particularly cheap but I think it’s worth it. I purchased my pram liner from Mini Happy Me and I’m really pleased with it. It is a reversible one so I chose what fabrics were on each side. I went with one loud girly fabric on one side and gender neutral fabric on the other side. This was part of the persuasion I used as I convinced Stu it would be useful even if we go on to have a boy 😉
1) It Looks Cute!
Now I said this wasn’t the only reason but it is still a huge factor in choosing a pram liner. A custom pram liner will mean you can get a design that you really love and one that will coordinate with your prams colours.
It’s a great way to add personal style to your pram or give it a fun look for your bub.
2) It Protects Your Pram
The most important reason for having a pram liner is actually to protect your pram. If you’ve spent hundreds (and the rest!) of dollars on a pram, you at least want it to last until your children grow out of it.
A pram liner will catch stray crumbs, dollops of yoghurt, smooshed soggy rice cake and anything else your kid can throw at it. It is also great if you happen to suffer with a poonami.
For an extra cost, Mini Happy Me also offer a waterproof lining for extra protection.
3) It Will Fit Your Pram Perfectly
Yes there are universal pram liners but like those One Size Fits All pieces of clothing they don’t always fit right. I know this because I bought a universal pram liner in a hurry to go with a travel pram as I was flying to Adelaide on short notice.
I was starting to get really fed up of the universal liner. It pulled the straps into a funny position, which meant that they weren’t doing up properly. It was also so small, by the time Melie was sat in the pram you could barely see it and her head and feet were well past the ends.
I relate it to putting on an old or shrunken pair of underwear – It goes around you but rides up in all the wrong places!
My new custom pram liner from Mini Happy Me covers every inch of the pram, ensuring it is protected.
4) You’re Supporting a Local Business
I did a quick search for custom pram liners and most of the top websites are small, Australian businesses. There’s something good about being in contact with the person or people that actually make and send your item.
I had a conversation with Mini Happy Me on Instagram before and after purchasing the pram liner. I actually felt like a valued customer.
5) It Adds a Bit of Comfort
A pram looks like a pretty comfortable place to be but adding a pram liner gives a little bit more comfort! The fabric on my Uppababy Vista is a durable but I can’t imagine it would be too comfortable with bare skin rubbing up against it. The pram liner offers something a bit softer, which I feel is better, particularly during warm weather.
Disclosure: I paid for this pram liner. This post is not sponsored in any way, I’m just sharing something I like with you guys.
